UTSA student-athletes turn in record-setting fall semester

SAN ANTONIO —UTSA student-athletes continued their success in the classroom with another record-setting semester in the classroom this past fall.

Eight teams set GPA records following the fall academic report. Baseball (3.45), Men’s Cross Country (3.48), Women’s Golf (3.82) and Men’s Track & Field (3.25) each logged their best semester GPA, while Men’s Cross Country (3.48), Football (2.83), Soccer (3.68) and Softball (3.46) all posted program records for cumulative GPA.

UTSA student-athletes recorded an average team GPA of 3.21 for the fall semester and collectively they now boast a department GPA of 3.16.

Of the 357 student-athletes enrolled, 74.79% achieved at least a 3.0 GPA for the Fall 2025 semester, including 39 who logged a perfect 4.0 semester GPA. Overall, 64.43% of UTSA student-athletes maintain a 3.0-or-greater GPA.

Additionally, 44.54% of the student-athletes were named to the UTSA President’s List (4.0 GPA), Dean’s List (3.75-3.99 GPA) or Honor Roll (3.5-3.74 GPA) for the fall semester.

Twelve of 15 teams achieved a 3.0-or-greater GPA for the semester and 13 of 15 teams currently maintain a 3.0 or greater GPA.
