SAN ANTONIO – The UTSA women's basketball team will wrap up a two-game road swing on Friday, as they visit Florida Atlantic at 6 p.m. CT inside Baldwin Arena in Boca Raton, Florida.
The game will be broadcast live on ESPN+, and Neal Raphael will deliver all the action on the radio in the greater San Antonio area on The Bull 93.3 FM and worldwide on the iHeartRadio app.
The Roadrunners (8-7, 3-1 American) will look to bounce back after suffering a 70-53 defeat at the hands of South Florida on Tuesday. Sophomore Damara Allen provided a bright spot in the effort, logging her first career double-double to the tune of 13 points and 10 rebounds. Classmate Emilia Dannebauer also posted a collegiate-high 13 points on 5-for-6 shooting, and senior Ereauna Hardaway charted eight assists for the third time in her career. Additionally, fellow senior Cheyenne Rowe scored eight with 10 rebounds.
The Owls (8-9, 2-3 American) eye a three-game winning streak after taking down UAB and Wichita State. FAU is led offensively by Vivian Onugha, who scored 9.9 points per game, and she’s second on the team with 6.0 rebounds per game. Ahead of her, Haley Walker snags 6.9 boards. Jess Moors paces the squad with 54 assists, and she gets the job done defensively with 33 steals and nine blocks.
