IRVING, Texas— UTSA women’s basketball newcomer Adriana Robles was recognized as the American Conference Freshman of the Week on Monday, as was announced by the league office.
Robles helped UTSA to an 86-40 victory over Prairie View A&M, which represented UTSA’s largest margin of victory since the 2008 season. She performed well, scoring eight points to go with five assists and three rebounds across the contest. Robles becomes the first Roadrunner to receive a conference honor in the 2025-26 season, and the first to be named Freshman of the Week since Aysia Proctor accomplished the feat on Feb. 19, 2024.
