Cross Country wraps up campaign at NCAA South Central Regional

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark.— The UTSA cross country team concluded the 2025 season on Friday, as the men competed in the 10k and the women in the 6k at the NCAA South Central Regional Championships at Argi Park.  

On the women’s side, freshman Jocelyn Karry crossed the tape in 22:33.8, placing her 88th, while classmate Madison Gilliam was 154th in 24:03.8

On the men’s side, newcomer Ethan Carranza led the way, with a time of 32:53.7, slotting him 101st, with senior O.J. Ruiz wrapping up his collegiate career in 112th at 33:14.4. Freshman Austin Lyda rounded things out in 123rd after clocking in at 33:34.7.
