DENTON, Texas – The Roadrunners (10-6, 3-2) fall to UNT (12-5, 2-3) 3-1 (18-25, 25-18, 25-14, 25-19 on Wednesday, Oct. 8 at the UNT Volleyball Center in Denton, Texas.
Set One
The Roadrunners took an early 4-1 lead. They were able to reach double-digit points first, leading by three. The Roadrunners went on a five-point surge to go up 17-9 over UNT. UTSA won the race to 20 as they led by eight over the Mean Green. The Roadrunners managed to close out the set, winning 25-18.
Set Two
UNT took an early 6-2 lead as they went on a six-point surge. They then went on a three-point surge to go up 13-4 over the Roadrunners. UNT was able to win the race to 20 as they led by seven over the Roadrunners. The Mean Green closed it out winning 25-8 over UTSA.
Set Three
Through the first ten points, UNT was winning 7-3. The Mean Green won the race to 20 leading the Roadrunners by eight points. UNT closed out the third set, winning 25-14 for their second set win of the match.
Set Four
The Roadrunners went on a seven-point surge to go up 7-1 over the Mean Green. After that, UNT went on a 7-2 run to tie it at 8-8. After fighting back and forth, the Roadrunners took a two-point lead, going up 16-14.

- Freshman libero Giada Obregon grabbed her ninth double-digit dig game with 14.
- Miranda Putnicki set a new season high in blocks with nine.
- Gigi Mason set a career high of seven blocks.
