SAN ANTONIO – The Roadrunners (10-5, 3-1) are set to face off against North Texas (11-5, 1-3) at 5 p.m. on October 8 at the UNT Volleyball Center in Denton, Texas. This will be UTSA’s first Wednesday match of the season.
The match will be broadcast on ESPN+ with Kyle Youmans as the play-by-play and Hek’ma Harrison as the analyst. The match will also have live statistics at utsa.statbroadcast.com.
This match will be the Roadrunners’ third consecutive road match. UTSA is currently 2-0 in American Conference road matches, with wins over Memphis and UAB. The Roadrunner took down the Memphis Tigers 3-0 and UAB 3-1.
UTSA is 8-2 in the last ten games, which includes a five-match win streak and a three-game win streak. The Roadrunners' last four games have been conference games, with UTSA holding a 3-1 record against American opponents.
The Roadrunners are 22-16 all-time against North Texas. The Roadrunners are 14-6 against the Mean Green in matches played in San Antonio, 7-9 in matches played in Denton and 1-1 in neutral site matches. The Roadrunners have lost the last two matches against North Texas.
