SAN ANTONIO – Officials from the American Conference office have determined that the UTSA soccer team (7-5-5, 3-3-3 AMER) has officially clinched its spot in the 2025 American Championships, set for Nov. 3-9 at the Premier Sports Campus in Lakewood Ranch, Florida. This year’s appearance will mark the first American Championships for the program since joining the league in 2023 and the first overall conference tournament since 2022.
In that last conference tournament appearance, UTSA entered as a the Conference USA sixth seed and swept through the field to the first conference tournament title since 2010 on victories over UAB (1-0, OT), North Texas (2-1) and Florida Atlantic (3-2). From that tournament title, UTSA made its last appearance in the NCAA Tournament.
