TULSA, Okla. – The Roadrunners (11-10, 4-6) fell to Tulsa (18-4, 8-2) 3-0 (25-16, 25-18, 25-10) on Sunday, Oct. 26 at the Donald W. Reynolds Center in Tulsa, Okla.
Set One
Tulsa took an early 8-2 lead in the first set. Tulsa was able to hold onto the lead as they won the race to 20, leading the Roadrunners 20-12. The Golden Hurricane managed to take the first set victory, winning 25-16 over the Roadrunners.
Set Two
Tulsa opened up the second set with a four-point scoring run. The Roadrunners were able to hold on and cut the Tulsa lead to three, was the Roadrunners went on a three-point scoring surge to make the match 14-11. Tulsa then had a five-point surge to go up 21-13 over UTSA. Tulsa closed out the set winning 25-18.
Set Three
Tulsa went up early in the third set, leading 15-4. Tulsa then won the race to 20 as they led 20-7. Tulsa was able to close out the win as they won 25-10.
Notes
- Giada Obregon recorded her 13th double-digit dig game of the season with 10.
- Ally Tribe and Gigi Mason each had six kills, which led the team.
- Ilaria Durante led the team in assists with 12.
