TULSA – On Thursday, the UTSA men’s tennis team began competition at the 2025 American Fall Individual Championships in Tulsa, Oklahoma, at the LaFortune Tennis Park, with the sophomore duo of Oskar Grzegorzewski and Enzo Vargas in action.
The tandem opened things up with an 8-4 victory over Maj Najvirt Kolaric and Oliver Aguilar from Temple in the Round of 16, and advance to face Petro Kuzmenok and Santiago Navarro of Rice in the quarterfinals on Friday at 10 a.m.
In singles action, Grzegorzewski bowed out in the Round of 16, falling to Memphis’ Marcos Castro Fabra, 6-3, 6-3. Vargas, meanwhile, lost to Tommy Czaplinski from Rice, 6-7 (8), 6-3, 6-3, in the Round of 32.
