UTSA to play Rice and Tulsa

SAN ANTONIO – The Roadrunners (11-8, 4-4) are set to take on Rice (11-8, 7-1) on at 6 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 24 at Tudor Fieldhouse in Houston, Texas and Tulsa (17-3, 7-1) at 1 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 26 at the Reynolds Center in Tulsa, Okla.

Both games will be broadcast on ESPN+. There will also be live statistics available at UTSA.Statbroadcast.com.

The Roadrunners hit the road for the first time since Oct. 8, where they closed out a three-game road trip. The Roadrunners are 3-2 in road matches. These first two matches kick off a three-game road trip that will close out on Oct. 31, taking on Tulane.

The Roadrunners are 6-4 in their last ten games, all of which were American Conference matches. UTSA’s most recent game against East Carolina, where the Roadrunners took down the Pirates in three sets.

UTSA is 7-33 all-time against Rice. These two teams faced off against each other earlier this season when the Roadrunners fell 3-0 to the Owls. UTSA is 3-19 against the Owls in games played in Houston.

UTSA is 12-4 all-time against Tulsa, including a 3-1 record at Tulsa. The Roadrunners fell to Tulsa earlier this season in five sets.
