Henry, Hogan named to Dave Campbell’s Texas Football Midseason All-Texas College Team

LEWISVILLE, Texas — UTSA seniors Robert Henry Jr. and Caile Hogan have been named to the Dave Campbell’s Texas Football Midseason All-Texas College Team, the publication announced on Tuesday.

Henry earned a spot at running back on the first team, while Hogan was tabbed the second-team punter.

A native of Lumberton, Mississippi, Henry has emerged as one of the top rushers in the FBS this season. Through the first six games, he has piled up 730 yards and eight touchdowns on 92 carries, good for an average of 7.9 yards per carry. He also has caught 14 passes for 105 yards and a pair of scores, giving him 835 all-purpose yards, good for a conference-leading average of 139.2 per game to rank sixth in the FBS.

Hogan, who hails from Melbourne, Australia, is averaging 46.6 yards per punt through the first six games this season, an average that leads the American Conference and ranks 12th in the FBS. Of his 28 punts, nine have sailed at least 50 yards — including a season-long 60-yard kick at Temple on Oct. 4 — and 11 have pinned opponents inside their own 20-yard line.
