IRVING, Texas – The American Conference officially unveiled the 2025-26 women’s basketball schedule on Thursday, as UTSA is set to open the league slate on Dec. 30, hosting Tulane in the Convocation Center.
From there, the Roadrunners will make the trek to Philadelphia with Temple on the docket for Jan. 3. UTSA returns to The Convo on Jan. 10 to face Charlotte, ahead of a road swing against South Florida (Jan. 13) and Florida Atlantic (Jan. 16). Back in The Military City, the ‘Runners invite East Carolina on Jan. 20, before a Jan. 24 trip to Memphis to battle the Tigers. UTSA will wrap up January in San Antonio with contests against North Texas (Jan. 27) and Rice (Jan. 31)
The Roadrunners open February on the road with trips to UAB (Feb. 3) and Tulsa (Feb. 7), ahead of home contests with Temple (Feb. 10) and South Florida (Feb. 14). Rounding out the month, UTSA will visit Wichita State (Feb. 21) and North Texas (Feb. 24).
Memphis will head to San Antonio on March 1, before the ‘Runners face Tulsa on March 4 in the final home contest of the campaign. UTSA will wrap up the regular season on March 7, facing Rice in Houston.
Beginning this season, the American Basketball Championship will feature the top 10 teams in a new five-day bracket format. The No. 1 and No. 2 seeds will advance directly to the semifinals, while the No. 3 and No. 4 seeds will maintain byes to the quarterfinals. The No. 5 and No. 6 seeds will receive byes to the second round. The 2026 Championship will run Tuesday through Saturday, March 10-14 at the Legacy Arena at the BJCC in Birmingham, Alabama.
