SAN ANTONIO – The 2025 UTSA cross country season will officially begin on Friday, as the Roadrunners will head across town to take on the UIW Invitational at the Windcrest Golf Club.

Festivities will begin at 8 a.m. with the men's 4-mile, ahead of the women's 5k at 8:40 a.m.

For the men, senior O.J. Ruiz will be back in action after recording a top-10 finish at last year's UIW Invitational, with a time of 19:52.2, slotting him eighth. Alongside Ruiz, Diego Ramirez will return, with David Zuniga, Austin Lyda, Ethan Carranza, Israel Cuellar, Michael Perez and Amisadai Yanez all slated to make their collegiate debuts.
