Men’s Tennis to split up, competing at Waco Fall Kickoff Classic and Islander Open

The Roadrunners will open the fall campaign on Friday

SAN ANTONIO – On Friday, the UTSA men’s tennis team will officially begin the 2025 fall season as they compete at both the Waco Fall Kickoff Classic and the Jake Frederick Memorial Islander Open.

Festivities in Waco, Texas will span three days on the campus of Baylor at the Hurd Tennis Center, and concurrently, the Islander Open is hosted by Texas A&M-Corpus Christi at the Thomas J. Henry Tennis Center.

Sophomores Oskar Grzegorzewski, Ben Chetewy Ungar, Enzo Vargas, and freshman Timeo Bretin headline those competing in Waco, while freshman Maximilian Ontiveros, senior Luke Cantu and freshman Constantin Radu will visit the Sparking City by the Sea.
