About Runaway June

Sometimes you have to keep running to find your path. The band Runaway June knows this firsthand. Since singer, songwriter, and guitarist Jennifer Wayne founded the country trio in 2015, the band has celebrated hits, like their Top 5 single “Buy My Own Drinks,” and weathered personnel changes, all the while moving forward. Now, Runaway June have arrived at their most empowering, fierce, and musically formidable version yet — and they have the songs to prove it. Made up of Wayne alongside vocalist, fiddler, and mandolin player Natalie Stovall, and lead singer, guitarist, and harmonica player Stevie Woodward, Runaway June have all the hallmarks of a supergroup, both onstage and in the writing room. To hear songs like current single “New Kind of Emotion,” the tropical party of “Drink Champagne,” and the vibey “Sad Girl,” is to experience three women – all multi-instrumentalists - at the peak of their powers.
