Roadrunners receive USTFCCCA academic accolades

NEW ORLEANS – Both UTSA track & field programs have been honored with team and individual academic accolades from the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Association (USTFCCCA), officials from the coaching association announced. Not only did both squads receive team honors, but 13 Roadrunners garnered individual All-Academic honors.

Both men's and women's squads were named USTFCCCA All-Academic Teams, which requires a cumulative GPA for all student-athletes on the institution's NCAA squad list for Indoor and/or Outdoor Track and Field of 3.0 or higher. The women boasted a 3.47 team GPA and the men posted a 3.11 team GPA

In addition, 13 total Roadrunners received honors as USTFCCCA All-Academic Athletes, with nine from the women’s team and four from men’s squad.

On the women's side, Oreoluwa Adamson, Ida Breigan and Edlin Laur received repeat honors, while Nyaluet Diew, Shadae Findley, Selma Ims, Mia Lien, Brina Likar and Rachela Pace were honored for the first time. Receiving men’s honors as a repeat honoree was Mike Roth, along with Matthew Mills, Charlie Staddon and Garrett Stokes.
