Three Roadrunners named to ABCA/Rawlings All-Region Team

GREENSBORO, N.C. — Three Roadrunners were placed on the ABCA/Rawlings Central All-Region Team, including First Team Selection Mason Lytle, along with Second Team Selections Jordan Ballin and Norris McClure. The teams are voted on by members of the American Baseball Coaches Association, and the process is led by the ABCA NCAA Div. 1 All-America & Coach of the Year Committee.

Lytle had an outstanding year as he started in all 62 games the Roadrunners played. Lytle led the team in batting average (.366), total bases (150), hits (98), doubles (22), and stolen bases (17).

The freshman Ballin was named to the Central All-Region second team. He recorded a batting average of .333 with 42 hits and a team-leading on-base percentage of .541. Ballin played in 51 games, making 43 starts in his freshman season.

Third baseman McClure made 55 starts for the Roadrunners, bringing in 42 RBIs with 105 total bases with a slugging percentage of .493. McClure had a .352 batting average, second only to Lytle.
