Roadrunners travel to take on Tulane and Wichita State

SAN ANTONIO — The Roadrunners are set to face off against Tulsa at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Mar. 29, in Tulsa, Okla. They will then head to Wichita, Kans, to take on Wichita State at 10 a.m. on Sunday, Mar. 30.

UTSA is 17-2 in the year, with a perfect road record, winning eight matches. This will be UTSA’s fifth and sixth matches against American Athletics Conference opponents.

As a team, the Roadrunners are 67-22 in singles play, with Arina Babenko leading the team as she has won 15 of her singles matches without dropping one. In doubles, UTSA is 32-16 on the year.

Since 2007, the Roadrunners are 2-1 over Tulane with their last win coming on Apr. 18, 2024, where the Roadrunners won 4-2. This will be the first time the Roadrunners and Wichita State have played each other dating back to 2007.

After the two matches, this weekend, the Roadrunners will host UT Arlington at 11 a.m. on Friday, Apr. 4 at the UTSA Tennis Center in San Antonio, Texas.
