UTSA to host Denver in Sunday contest

SAN ANTONIO — The UTSA women’s tennis team is set to welcome Denver at 11 a.m. on Sunday, Mar. 16 at the UTSA Tennis Center in San Antonio, Texas.

The Roadrunners are 14-2 on the year holding a 6-1 home record, 8-0 road record and 0-1 in neutral matches. UTSA is 2-2 against American Athletics opponents. In singles, the Roadrunners have won 54 matches and lost 20. In doubles they have a record of 27-13.

Since 2007, UTSA is 0-2 against Denver with their most recent matching being played on Mar. 29, 2013, in Ruston, La. Where the Roadrunners fell 0-7. In 2009, Denver and UTSA faced off against each other in San Antonio, Texas, Denver walked away with the 7-0 win.

After their match against Denver, the Roadrunners will play UTRGV at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Mar. 18, in San Antonio, Texas.
