Help us make history, Roadrunners!
Saturday sets up to be a historic day for the UTSA Women's Basketball program when it plays host to Florida Atlantic at 12 p.m. at the Convocation Center. Here are four historic reasons why you will definitely want to be in attendance Saturday:
1. Help us set an attendance record
The Roadrunners, who are undefeated at home this year, will look to set the all-time single-game attendance record at Saturday's contest. The previous record of 2,000 fans was set in 1991 against SMU. When this record-setting day is chronicled, you'll want to be able to say "I WAS THERE!" Plus, April Ancira is donating $5 for every person in attendance to the UTSA Women's Basketball program for a total donation of more than $10,000. Take advantage of this limited-time ticket offer of $9 general admission tickets to Saturday's game!
2. Send the seniors off in style
Saturday's game will mark the final home contest for seniors Jordyn Jenkins and Nina De Leon Negron, who have done so much to elevate the UTSA Women's Basketball program! Make sure you come to the Convo to show your appreciation for these two fantastic student-athletes, who will be honored in a Senior Day celebration.
3. Celebrate an AAC Championship
With a win on Saturday, the Roadrunners can clinch at least a share of the American Athletic Conference regular-season championship! You'll want to be there to celebrate this historic milestone that we've been building towards all season!
4. Help us win our 25th game of the season
The Roadrunners, with a win on Saturday, would earn their 25th victory of the season, which would set the school's all-time single-season win record! UTSA is currently 24-3 on the season, which has tied the 2008-09 squad for the most wins in a single season.
With those four historic opportunities on the line Saturday, there's really no reason you should be anywhere else other than the Convo!
