Frazier set for NFL Scouting Combine this week in Indianapolis

SAN ANTONIO — UTSA All-America cornerback Zah Frazier will travel to Indianapolis, Indiana, to participate in the 2025 NFL Scouting Combine, which will be held at Lucas Oil Stadium and the Indiana Convention Center.

Frazier will arrive on Tuesday, Feb. 25, with orientation and interviews with NFL personnel scheduled for the evening. Exams, meetings and interviews will continue on Wednesday and Thursday, when media interviews also will occur. Measurements and on-field workouts are pegged for Friday before wrap-up sessions and departure on Saturday. NFL Network will provide extensive coverage of the NFL Scouting Combine.

Frazier is the sixth Roadrunner to earn an invite to the NFL Scouting Combine, joining Spencer Burford (2022), Marcus Davenport (2018), Sincere McCormick (2022), David Morgan II (2016) and Tariq Woolen (2022).

A native of Cedartown, Georgia, Frazier wrapped up his UTSA career this past season by earning All-America accolades from two different publications. He was named to Phil Steele’s Third Team and was selected for honorable mention recognition by CBS Sports.

A first-team All-American Athletic Conference selection, Frazier finished second in the FBS with a school-record six interceptions in 2024. He turned in a trio of two-INT games, all coming during league play. He picked off a pair of passes against East Carolina and also in back-to-back home victories over North Texas and Temple to break the previous program mark of five.

Frazier, who played in the 100th East-West Shrine Bowl on Jan. 30 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, recorded nine pass breakups to give him 15 total passes defended, good for fifth on the school’s single-season chart and a share of sixth among FBS players in 2024. Additionally, the Dave Campbell’s Texas Football All-Texas College First-Team performer totaled 24 tackles, 20 unassisted stops, one tackle for loss, one forced fumble and a quarterback hurry last fall.
