by Sean Cartell

SAN ANTONIO – The UTSA Women’s Basketball program, which is in the midst of a historic season, will push to break the all-time Convocation Center single-game home attendance record of 2,000 fans on Saturday, March 1 in a 12 p.m. Senior Day game vs. Florida Atlantic.

The previous record of 2,000 fans was set on February 9, 1991 vs. SMU.

The Roadrunners are 22-3 on the season and headline the American Athletic Conference standings with a 13-1 league mark. UTSA is just two victories away from matching the program record for wins in a season (24).

The March 1 game will also mark the final home game for standout seniors Jordyn Jenkins and Nina De Leon Negron, who have played a critical role in the program’s impressive trajectory.
