SAN ANTONIO – The UTSA women’s soccer team has announced the schedule for this spring’s opponents as the Roadrunners are working toward the eighth season under head coach Derek Pittman. UTSA will play five games and an alumni game, including three opportunities to catch the Roadrunners at home in the confines of Park West.
The 2025 spring schedule opens on March 2 with another cross-town friendly against Incarnate Word at Park West. Later in the month, UTSA will host
Big 12 foe Houston on the 23rd at Park West. For the first away matchup to get a test on the road, UTSA will travel to San Angelo to meet Lonestar Conference Champion and 18th-ranked Division II squad Angelo State on the 29th of March. Opening the second month of spring competitions, UTSA will welcome another cross-town matchup, as St. Mary’s will head to Park West on April 6. The Alumni Game is set for April 12 and UTSA will close out the spring slate at defending SEC Champion, Texas, on April 18 – the Longhorns finished the year ranked No. 21 in the final standings.
Pittman the Roadrunners announced a 14-player signing class at the end of December, with five of those players already getting into live action with their teammates this spring.
“Our staff and players have been working hard to keep building on the team’s performances from the end of the 2024 season and we are looking forward to playing in these upcoming spring games to showcase our growth,” Pittman said. “With the graduation of so many senior personnel, these games are opportunities for young players to step up and showcase themselves. We hope to see our many loyal 210 fans come out to Park West and catch a glimpse of our 2025 squad.”
