SAN ANTONIO – The UTSA women’s tennis team has been ranked No. 61 in this week’s ITA Division I Rankings, announced the organization on Tuesday.
This marks UTSA’s highest ranking in program history. The Roadrunners have been ranked previously, including 2003 and 1998. UTSA reached as high as No. 65 in 2003 and No. 73 in 1998.
The Roadrunners have started the season with the best start (6-1) under head coach Ki Kroll, after going on a six-match winning streak to start the season. UTSA looks to improve on that record and move up in the rankings this weekend in Houston, against the Cougars on Friday at 1 p.m. and the Rice Owls on Saturday at 11 a.m.
