SAN ANTONIO – Roadrunners fans now have the opportunity to own a piece of history, as UTSA Athletics announced Friday it will auction off selected Lights Out black football jerseys from the 2024 season. Proceeds from the jersey auction will benefit the UTSA Football program.
The Lights Out uniforms debuted on Nov. 2 when UTSA earned its first-ever victory over a top-25 opponent, defeating No. 25 Memphis. It marked just the second time in program history and first since 2016 that UTSA Football has worn black uniforms.

As part of the auction, the following items will be available:
- Two full sets of the team’s coveted single-digit jerseys, each featuring the Triangle of Toughness patch, will be available for bid starting at $1,000.
- The exclusive 2-1-0 set of jerseys will be available at a starting bid of $5,000.
- Twenty (20) game-worn jerseys will be available at a starting bid of $300.
The auction will open at 3 p.m. CT Friday and will remain open through 5 p.m. CT on Black Friday (Friday, November 29).
