UTSA is coming off its third top-five finish of the fall season last week at the Dale McNamara Invitational in Oklahoma. Sydney Bisgrove and Morgan Ellison tied for 25th at 12-over 225 to help the Roadrunners tie with Boise State for fifth in the 16-team field with a 906 (306-293-307), finishing ahead of American Athletic Conference opponents Tulsa (11th/926), Tulane (14th/933) and South Florida (15th/938). It marked the Roadrunners’ third top-five team showing of the fall campaign and the 32nd for eighth-year head coach Summer Batiste.

Abonce leads UTSA with a 74.75 stroke average in 12 rounds this season. The reigning conference champion boasts a pair of top-15 showings including a tie for third at the Badger Invitational.

Williams stands second on the team with a 75.25 scoring mark and the junior out of England logged her best finish with a career-best tie for fifth at the Diane Thomason Invitational last month.

Ellison sits right behind Williams with a 75.67 average and the senior from Georgia has placed in the top 30 in all four events this fall.

Bastarrica and Bisgrove own marks of 77.33 and 77.75, respectively.

The Roadrunners have played in the Jim West Challenge six times previously. Last year, UTSA set several school records en route to a seventh-place performance. The Roadrunners fired a UTSA-best 15-under 273 in the final round behind Camryn Carreon’s program-record 8-under 64.
