AAC broadcast networks, full UTSA tipoff schedule released

SAN ANTONIO – With the 2024-25 men’s basketball season coming at the beginning of November, officials from the American Athletic Conference have announced the league’s selections for linear broadcast television this season. In addition, UTSA has announced the full slate of tip times for both non-conference and conference games. UTSA is scheduled for three nationally televised AAC games on ESPNU, including one at the Convocation Center.

The Roadrunners’ season tipoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 4 at the Convocation Center against Trinity with a streaming broadcast set for ESPN+.

The American Athletic Conference opener is set for Saturday, Jan. 4, at Tulane, with UTSA tipping off against the Green Wave at Avron B. Fogelman Arena in the Devlin Fieldhouse at 5 p.m. – the game will be carried live on ESPNU.

UTSA’s next opportunity on ESPNU is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 8, facing East Carolina at home in the Convocation Center with a 7 p.m. tipoff. Just seven days later, the Roadrunners will be back on ESPNU with a road game at Tulsa, meeting the Golden Hurricane on Saturday, Feb. 15, tipping off at 5 p.m. at the Reynolds Center.

Due to broadcast rights deals in the SEC, UTSA will appear on SEC+ at Arkansas on December 16. Aside from non-conference contests not announced, at least 23 of UTSA’s remaining games are already confirmed to appear on ESPN+.

The Roadrunners are entering the first year under head coach Austin Claunch, second year in the American Athletic Conference and feature a roster with 15-of-16 new players in the Blue and Orange. For UTSA’s 30-game 2024-25 schedule, there will be a 14-game home slate at the Convocation Center.

All UTSA men's basketball games will air live on the radio in the San Antonio area on Ticket 760 and The Bull 93.3, respectively. Every broadcast will feature a 30-minute pregame and 15-minute postgame show, and they will be available online at Ticket760.com or The Bull 93.3 and everywhere fans want to listen via the free iHeartRadio app. Andy Everett will return for his 18th season as the play-by-play announcer of UTSA men's basketball games.
