SAN ANTONIO – The expected home opener for UTSA men’s tennis scheduled for Sunday, Jan. 21 at noon against UT Rio Grande Valley has been canceled in advance of forecasted unplayable temperatures and precipitation across the San Antonio area on Sunday.The Roadrunners and Vaqueros will work toward potentially replacing the match in the near future.
The next stop for the Roadrunners is next week at the ITA Kickoff Weekend in Austin at the Texas Tennis Center. UTSA is scheduled to face No. 3 Texas on Friday, Jan. 27, followed on Saturday, Jan. 28 by a meeting with either Oklahoma State or Utah.
