SAN ANTONIO – The perfect way to celebrate a Roadrunners’ touchdown and directly support student-athletes, UTSA Athletics will debut its “NIL Flash Give” following each touchdown at the Alamodome.
Fans are encouraged to direct their attention to the video boards immediately after each touchdown for the “NIL Flash Give” where they can scan the QR code that will be displayed. The linked Runners Go Bold page will allow UTSA fans to select from three NIL collectives – 210 Inspired, City Fans 210 and Runners Rising Project – through which they can support the program’s student-athletes.
"We’re excited to offer the NIL Flash Give as a way for our fans to make an immediate impact on our student-athletes’ success,” said Brad Smith, UTSA Deputy Athletic Director for External Affairs. “This initiative reflects our commitment to providing innovative NIL opportunities, by engaging with any of our collectives, fans are not only celebrating touchdowns but also empowering the future of UTSA Athletics."
Saturday’s UTSA Football contest vs. Houston Christian is the program’s annual Hispanic Heritage Game. Single-game tickets start at just $21 and can be purchased online or by calling the UTSA Athletics Ticket Office at (210) 458-8872. The game is also a Salute to First Responders (police, fire, sheriff, EMS, dispatchers) and first responders may take advantage of a special buy-one, get-one free ticket offer.
UTSA Athletics is fully committed to supporting NIL opportunities and programming so that its nearly 400 student-athletes can have the best student-athlete experience possible. Each of the three collectives work with program supporters to raise money and provide NIL activities to student-athletes. Fans who wish to support student-athletes in the NIL space but do not have a particular activity for the student-athlete to participate in should explore working with a collective.
