IRVING, Texas — UTSA’s American Athletic Conference opener at East Carolina on Sept. 28 will kick off at 3 p.m. Central time and air on ESPN+, the league office announced on Monday.
The Roadrunners and Pirates will meet for the second straight season as league foes and for the first time at Dowdy-Ficklen Stadium in Greenville, North Carolina. UTSA scored a 41-27 home triumph over ECU on Oct. 28, 2023, at the Alamodome in the inaugural meeting between the two teams.
The Roadrunners will host Houston Christian (1-2) this Saturday, Sept. 21, in the non-conference finale and for the annual Hispanic Heritage Game. Kickoff is set for 2:30 p.m. at the Alamodome and that game will air on ESPN+ and Sports Radio AM 760 The Ticket.
Fans can purchase tickets online or by calling the UTSA Ticket Office at 210-458-UTSA (8872) from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday excluding holidays. Current UTSA football season-ticket holders may renew their tickets by logging into their UTSA Account Manager.
