SAN ANTONIO – UTSA Athletics on Thursday announced it has launched the Roadrunner Rally and Tickets for Troops donation programs.
"With the launch of the Roadrunner Rally and Tickets for Troops programs, we're thrilled to bring the community together in support of local organizations and our dedicated military members," said Dr. Brad Smith, UTSA Deputy AD for External Affairs. "These initiatives not only provide a way for fans to contribute to meaningful causes, but they also embody our commitment to unite the community, and to pack the Alamodome for the upcoming football season."
Roadrunner Rally is an opportunity for community leaders, businesses, season-ticket holders and fans alike to come together to support local organizations. Single-game tickets can be purchased for $10 on the UTSA Athletics ticket office website and will be donated to local organizations and causes throughout the upcoming football season.
As part of the Roadrunner Rally program, Tickets for Troops will benefit military members, their families and related organizations within Military City USA to be enjoyed during the Salute to Armed Forces and Veterans game on November 15.
Fans and supporters who are interested in purchasing tickets for donations can click here to make their purchase or simply include it during their own single-game ticket purchase.
The initiative and unique partnership are part of UTSA Athletics’ effort to Unite the Community as one of four strategic initiatives that comprise the Roadrunner Game Plan for UTSA Athletics.
