NORMAN, Okla. — The UTSA men’s golf program has been named a Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) All-Academic Team for the sixth straight year.
The Roadrunners received the award for posting a team GPA of 3.0-or-better after wrapping up their second season under head coach Matt Wernecke earlier this year.
A total of 240 schools across six divisions earned a GCAA team academic award.
This award comes less than one week after Hunter Bott and David Harrison were named 2023-24 NCAA Division I Cobalt Golf All-America Scholars. Bott achieved All-America Scholar status for the fourth time in his career, while Harrison collected his third consecutive honor from the organization.
