SAN ANTONIO — On Saturday, UTSA volleyball coach Carol Price-Torok officially unveiled the 2024 schedule. The Roadrunners will host 15 contests, including a Battle of I-35 match with Texas State, two home tournaments, and eight American Athletic Conference matches. Season tickets are on sale now and available for purchase here.
After opening the season in Norfolk, Virginia, at the Quest for the Crown hosted by Old Dominion, UTSA will face Texas State in a Battle of I-35 home opener on Sep. 4.
The UTSA Invitational will follow, as Holy Cross, Abilene Christian, and UIW visit the Convocation Center on Sep. 6 and 7.
The 'Runners will remain in The Alamo City as Central Arkansas, Alabama, and Sam Houston make the trip for the Roadrunner Classic, which will take place from Sep. 13 to 14.
UTSA will then compete at the SFA Tournament in Nacogdoches, Texas, before hosting North Texas in the league opener on Sep. 27. From there, contests against Rice (Sep. 29), East Carolina (Oct. 4), and Charlotte (Oct. 6) occur ahead of an Oct. 9 matchup with Tulane in the Convocation Center.
After an Oct. 13 road bout against North Texas, UTSA will return home to take on UAB (Oct. 18) and Tulsa (Oct. 20). The Roadrunners then visit The City of Brotherly Love to face Temple on Oct. 25 before a home matchup with South Florida on Oct. 27.
The 'Runners head to New Orleans, Louisiana, on Nov. 1 to battle Tulane before wrapping up competition in the Convo with a three-game homestand that features Rice (Nov. 3), Memphis (Nov. 8), and Florida Atlantic (Nov. 10).
UTSA will visit Tulsa (Nov. 15) and Wichita State (Nov. 17) to conclude the regular season ahead of the 2024 AAC Volleyball Championship that spans Nov. 22-24 inside Charles Koch Arena on the campus of Wichita State.
