IRVING, Texas — UTSA’s home American Athletic Conference game against Temple has been selected for Friday, Nov. 22, league officials announced on Tuesday. A kickoff time and broadcast network will be announced at a later date.
That conference matchup between the Roadrunners and Owls is one of six regular season home games on the docket for UTSA’s 14th season of football and second year as a member of The American this fall.
Fans can purchase season tickets online or by calling the UTSA Ticket Office at 210-458-UTSA (8872) from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday excluding holidays. Current UTSA football season-ticket holders may renew their tickets by logging into their UTSA Account Manager.
UTSA will kick off its 14th season of play and second as a member of the American Athletic Conference on Saturday, Aug. 31, against Kennesaw State at the Alamodome. In addition to the Nov. 22 matchup versus Temple, the Roadrunners also have home games scheduled against Houston Christian (Sept. 21), Florida Atlantic (Oct. 19), Memphis (Nov. 2) and North Texas (Nov. 15).
UTSA will play road contests at Texas State (Sept. 7), Texas (Sept. 14), East Carolina (Sept. 28), Rice (Oct. 12), Tulsa (Oct. 26) and Army (Nov. 30).
Kickoff times and television designations for the first three weeks of the season, as well as the season-long weeknight games, will be finalized by June 1. The rest of the schedule will fall under the customary 12-day and six-day selection processes.
Fifth-year head coach Jeff Traylor welcomes back 51 lettermen, including 16 starters. The Roadrunners are coming off 9-4 campaign that saw them claim the first bowl win in program history with a 35-17 victory over Marshall in the 2023 Frisco Bowl. UTSA posted a 7-1 mark to finish third in The American in its debut season in the league.
Fans can get a sneak preview of the 2024 team at the UTSA Football Fiesta Spring Game, which will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 13, at the Alamodome. Admission is free and doors will open to the public at 1 p.m. Fan seating will be general admission on the Plaza (100) Level on the East sideline only.
Parking is available at no charge in Lot C. Accessible parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis in Lot A. The lots will open at 11 a.m. Tailgating will not be permitted.
