FORT COLLINS, Colo. — The Postseason WNIT bracket was officially unveiled on Monday, with the organization announcing that UTSA is set to host Northern Colorado at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 21, at the Convocation Center in the opening round of the tournament.
The Roadrunners (17-14, 10-8 The American) will invite the Bears (15-15, 10-8 Big Sky) to the Alamo City for UTSA's first appearance in a postseason event since in the 2008-09 campaign. UTSA previously made the NCAA Tournament in the 2007-08 and 2008-09 seasons and is set to make its Postseason WNIT debut. Additionally, the squad is searching for the first postseason victory in the program's history.
Tickets will go on sale Tuesday at goutsa.com/wbbtickets. Postseason WNIT updates can be found at womensnit.com. The 2024 Postseason WNIT will have its championship game broadcast on CBS Sports Network, with tipoff set for 2 p.m. CT on Saturday, April 6.
