Seedings set for 2024 AAC Men’s Basketball Championships

IRVING, Texas – The American Athletic Conference officially announced the 2024 American Men’s Basketball Championship seedings on Sunday evening. The event will span five days in Fort Worth, March 13-17 at Dickies Arena.

The Roadrunners (11-20, 5-13 AAC) closed the regular season on Sunday afternoon on a last-second loss to Temple, and the opening of the AAC Championships will give UTSA a third crack at the Owls.

The 14th seed, UTSA will begin its tournament run on Wednesday, March 13 at 2 p.m. C.T., marking the third meeting with the 11th-seeded Temple Owls within a 25-day span. Should they advance, the Roadrunners will move on to the second round against No. 6 SMU on Thursday, March 14 at 8 p.m. CT.

For fans wishing to watch UTSA in the tournament, individual session tickets can be found here. If you can't make it to Dickies Arena, the opening rounds of the tournament will stream live exclusively on ESPN+, with the second round and quarterfinals live on ESPU, then the semifinals and the final airing live on ESPN2.
