UTSA soccer announces 2024 spring schedule

SAN ANTONIO – Following up UTSA’s first season in the American Athletic Conference and working toward the seventh season under head coach Derek Pittman, UTSA soccer has announced it will play seven games and an alumni game as part of the 2024 spring schedule.

The spring schedule opens on March 3 with a cross-town friendly against Incarnate Word at Park West. On the back end of the month, UTSA will hit the road twice, traveling to Houston to meet Rice on March 24, then returning just six days later to take on Houston. In April, the Roadrunners are set for a pair of doubleheaders, hosting St. Mary’s (TX) and Seminole State (OK) on April 7, then Texas A&M-Corpus Christi and Angelo State on April 20. Between those dates, UTSA will host the annual spring Alumni Game on April 13.

“The spring season is always about growth and development,” Pittman noted. “Our staff and players are hard at work this semester to improve every facet of our program in preparation for the upcoming fall season. Our strength staff is making us faster and stronger every day, while our staff is continuing to develop our players technically and tactically, evolving our playing style. Each of these games provide our players the opportunity to grow and learn as a group. We are excited to continue chasing growth and test ourselves against this challenging slate of opponents.”
