SAN ANTONIO — UTSA head women’s golf coach Summer Batiste announced Wednesday that the program has signed Sydney Bisgrove to a National Letter of Intent. The Calgary, Alberta, native will join the Roadrunners beginning with the 2024-25 season.
“We are very excited to officially welcome Sydney to the Roadrunner Family,” Batiste said. “She brings a true love for the game and work ethic that will fit seamlessly into our culture. She’ll be a player that builds an outstanding resume throughout her career at UTSA and in The American.”

Standout golfer for head coach Kevin MacLellan at All Saints High School in Calgary, Alberta … two-time Alberta High School Provincial Individual Champion, capturing crowns in 2021-22 and again in 2023-24 … helped lead the Legends to the 2023-24 provincial team title … fired a 64 to break the McKenzie Meadows Golf Course record … made the cut at the 2023 Canadian Women’s Amateur … qualified for the 2023 IMG Junior Worlds at Torrey Pines, where she fired a 1-under 71 … finished third at the 2022 Alberta U17 Provincial Championship … won the 2022 MJT Edge School Summer Classic with a 67-73-75—215 … placed fifth at the 2022 MJT National Championship … competed internationally for Team Alberta … also an excellent student with a 3.93 GPA.
