SAN ANTONIO – Ten UTSA student-athletes are part of academic honors programs. Nine are members of the UTSA Honors College and one is a member of UTSA’s Business Honors Program, exemplifying their commitment to excellence in both academics and athletics.
The UTSA Honors College is a diverse family of more than 2,000 achievement-oriented students. The Honors College’s experiential approach helps students of all majors become leaders, develop as professionals and intellectually achieve beyond coursework. Admission to the Honors College is on an invitation-only basis and is offered to a select number of highly motivated students based on the student’s information at the time of application to UTSA.
The Business Honors Program at UTSA’s Carlos Alvarez College of Business includes honors coursework in business foundational classes in addition to co-curricular activities, including mentorship, research and unique experiential learning opportunities. Business students who are members of UTSA’s Honors College are eligible to join the program.
