IRVING, Texas — The American Athletic Conference on Monday announced updates to UTSA’s league games versus Florida Atlantic and Tulane.
The Roadrunners’ Oct. 21 contest at Florida Atlantic will kick off at 5 p.m. CT and air on ESPN+ live from Boca Raton, Florida. This will mark the fourth meeting between the two teams in a series led by the Owls, 3-0.
The American also released dates for its Black Friday/Thanksgiving weekend slate, and UTSA’s game against defending champion Tulane has been selected for Friday, Nov. 24. Kickoff will be at either 11 a.m. on ESPN or 2:30 p.m. on ABC live from New Orleans. The league office and its television partners will use a 12- or 6-day window to announce the kickoff time and network designation. UTSA registered a 10-7 victory in 2013 in the only previous matchup between the two schools.
The Roadrunners ran their record to 2-4 overall and 1-0 in the AAC with a 49-34 victory at Temple last Saturday in Philadelphia. UTSA will host UAB (2-4, 1-1) in AAC action this Saturday, Oct. 14.
