SAN ANTONIO – UTSA Athletics, in partnership with Vozzi, announced Friday a new text-alert platform that will allow the department to communicate with the Roadrunners fan base directly through their cell phones.
An approved vendor of major phone carriers including AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile and Verizon, Vozzi is being used by athletics departments, professional franchises, entertainers and music festivals across the country to drive engagement through one-on-one and mass texts.
To sign up for alerts, fans can text the appropriate keywords below to 833-615-2515. Texting the keyword means you are subscribing to those notifications.
BirdsUp - meant for generic fan information that might not be related to any one particular sport. Updates may be related to tickets, special offers, reminders, general athletics news and more.
UTSAStudent - meant for UTSA students interested in receiving notifications and reminders about student ticketing, student giveaways and other student-specific items related to athletics.
