IRVING, Texas — UTSA’s inaugural American Athletic Conference game at Temple will kick off at 1 p.m. Central time on Saturday, Oct. 7, and air on ESPN+, the league office announced Monday.
The Roadrunners and Owls will meet for the first time at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia in what will be UTSA’s first-ever AAC contest.
UTSA fell to 1-3 on the season after closing the nonconference slate with a 45-14 setback at No. 20 Tennessee last Saturday in Knoxville.
Temple dropped to 2-2 on the year following a 41-7 home loss to No. 20 Miami (Fla.) on Sept. 23. The Owls will return to the field on Thursday, Sept. 28, at Tulsa.
Following the Temple game, the Roadrunners will return home to host UAB on Saturday, Oct. 14, at the Alamodome. A kickoff time and television network are expected to be announced on Oct. 2. Tickets are on sale by calling 210-458-UTSA (8872) or visiting goUTSA.com/tickets.
