SAN ANTONIO – Simon Miller of the UTSA baseball team racked up his fourth All-American honor as Baseball America added the junior to their second team, announced by the organization on Wednesday afternoon.
In the first half of June, Miller was named to All-American teams by NCBWA and Collegiate Baseball to become the first Roadrunner to land on two different organizations' All-American list. The Canton, Texas, native was also named to College Baseball Foundation's All-American Second Team.
Miller's phenomenal season has etched his name in the UTSA Baseball program record book. In individual single-season records, he is fifth in ERA, seventh in wins, second in saves and ninth in strikeouts. He has earned a multitude of awards this postseason, including Conference USA Pitcher of the Year, C-USA All-Conference First Team and ABCA/Rawlings All-Central Region Second Team.
