DALLAS – Senior Hailey Atwood from the UTSA women's basketball was named to the Conference USA All-Academic Team, announced the conference office on Friday. Atwood is the fourth Roadrunner to earn the award and first since Karrington Donald in 2020-21.
Atwood has earned the President's List three times for a 4.0 in each full-time semester at UTSA. The Austin, Texas, native earned two C-USA Academic Medals and the Commissioner's Honor Roll two times. Atwood has played in 24 games for the Roadrunners this season, starting in 13 of those. The senior averages 21.8 minutes per game and has picked up 91 rebounds and 116 points. Atwood a .408 percentage from the field, putting up crucial buckets for UTSA. Before she joined the Roadrunners, Atwood earned NJCAA Academic All-America honors when she was at Blinn Community College with a 4.0 GPA.
