SAN ANTONIO – UTSA softball head coach Michelle Cheatham announced the signing of transfer pitcher Kenzi Schultz.
"Kenzi will make an immediate impact in a staff that has been building experience over the last couple of years," Cheatham said. "We are excited to get to work with her and the rest of this year's squad very soon!"
Schultz comes to the Alamo City after playing the last two seasons at Utah Valley. With the Wolverines, she made 10 appearances with a 9.02 ERA and pitched 11.2 innings.
Prior to UVU, Schultz played at Poway High School near San Diego. She helped her team to back-to-back league championships in 2017 and 2018 and was named second-team All-League in 2018.
