SAN ANTONIO – UTSA sophomore forward Lachlan Bofinger will suit up for Sports Reach Basketball to participate in the 2022 Jamaica Basketball Tour, featuring nine different players from eight universities May 14-29.
Bofinger, a native of Sydney, Australia, will play for Sports Reach in Jamaica, where they will face local university teams, professional and club teams and national team players, while also conducting youth camps/clinics.
Bofinger, a 6-foot-6, 220-pound sophomore, will team up with players from Abilene Christian, The Citadel, Louisiana-Lafayette, Ranger College, Lamar, Iowa State and Dallas Baptist.
During his sophomore season in 2021-22, Bofinger played in all 32 games with 11 starts. He averaged 3.5 points and 3.9 rebounds per game over 15.5 minutes per game, owning 12 blocks and 11 steals. He scored in double figures twice, including going for 10 points and six boards in the Conference USA Championship first round matchup with Southern Miss. He also had 11 rebounds vs. Denver and had a six-point, 10 rebounds game vs. Dallas Christian.
