Four Roadrunners earn All-Conference accolades

DALLAS – Emily Dear, Camryn Robillard, Riley Grunberg and Kat Ibarra all earned spots on the All-Conference USA Team, the conference office announced on Tuesday.
 
Dear and Robillard were named to the Conference USA All-Freshman Team and Grunberg and Ibarra earned All-Conference First Team accolades.
 
This is the second-consecutive season UTSA has had a player on the All-Freshman Team and the first time since 2018 a Roadrunner had earned first-team honors. This is also the most amount of players UTSA has had on an all-conference team since joining the league.
 
Dear posted a .248 batting average during the regular-season. The Tomball, Texas, native recorded 17 runs, 32 hits, eight doubles, one triple, five home runs, 23 RBIs and 57 total bases with 129 at bats. The freshman earned 13 walks and had 47 putouts. Dear also had a .442 slugging percentage and a .319 on base percentage. The outfielder leads the team in doubles and ranks second in triples.
 
Robillard recorded a .255 batting average in her first season as a Roadrunner. She had 32 runs, 37 hits, six doubles, eight home runs, 25 RBIs and 67 total bases with 145 at bats. She earned 29 walks and had 167 putouts with 16 assists at third base. The Cedar Park, Texas, native led the freshmen squad in batting average, slugging percentage, on base percentage, runs scored, hits, RBIs, home runs, total bases, walks, chances and assists. The infielder posted six multi-hit games, six multiple RBIs games and reached base for a team-leading 16 games.
 
Grunberg posted a .301 batting average in her final season as a Roadrunner. She recorded 29 runs, 44 hits, five doubles, 10 home runs, 30 RBIs and 79 total bases with 146 at bats. The senior earned 28 walks, a team-leading 321 putouts and six assists at first base. She ranks second on the team in batting average, on base percentage, hits, home runs, total bases, walks and at bats. The Corpus Christi, Texas, native had a team-high 12 multi-hit games, eight multiple RBI games and reached base in a team-leading 16 games.
 
Ibarra recorded a team-leading .327 batting average this season. The sophomore posted 36 runs, 49 hits, four doubles, three triples, eight home runs, 21 RBIs and 83 total bases with 150 at bats. She earned 26 walks, had three stolen bases, 65 putouts and 94 assists. The shortstop also led the team in on base percentage, runs scored, hits, triples, total bases, stolen bases, total plate appearances and assists. The Katy, Texas, native had 12 multi-hit games, a nine-game hitting streak and reached base in 12 consecutive games.
