Torres claims 13th singles win at No. 62 Old Dominion

Norfolk, VA. – Tiago Torres (Lisbon, Portugal) earns his 13th singles win of the season at No. 62 Old Dominion, but the UTSA men's tennis team fell 4-2 to the Monarchs Friday afternoon at the Folkes-Stevens Tennis Center.
Torres defeated Younes Lalami 6-4, 6-4 on court 2. He is now 13-4 so far in his freshman season. Also, Sebastian Rodriguez (Trujillo, Peru) gains his 9th singles win of the season as he bested Yevhen Sirous on court 3. Rodriguez is now 9-7 in singles.
UTSA (9-9) fell on the remaining courts, as Joao Ceolin (Palotina, Brazil) fell to No. 105 Francois Le Tallec.
The Roadrunners fell short to acquiring the doubles point as two of the matches were losses and one match being unfinished.
Tomorrow, UTSA travels to Williamsburg, Virginia to face William & Mary. First serve is set for 12 p.m.
