FORT WORTH – TCU broke the UTSA women's tennis team's win streak with a 4-0 win on Friday afternoon at the Bayard H. Friedman Tennis Center.
The Horned Frogs won the doubles point to start the match. Jasmin Starr and Sophie Omoworare were defeated 6-2 at No. 2. Aleksandra Zlatarova and Stanislava Bobrovnikova won the only Roadrunner point of the match with a 6-4 win at No. 1. At No. 3, Alexandra Weir and Eva Beyebach were topped 6-3.
TCU swept the Roadrunners in three singles matches to claim the win. Omoworare dropped the first singles match at No. 6. At No. 3, Weir was topped 6-4, 6-1. Starr was defeated 6-3, 6-2 at No. 2.
The Roadrunners concluded regular season play in Fort Worth. The team will travel to Murfreesboro, Tenn. April 21-24 for the Conference USA Championship.
