SAN ANTONIO – The UTSA softball team is set to compete in the Cardinal Invitational Feb. 18-20, hosted by UIW.
The Roadrunners will face UMass on Friday night at 6 p.m. On Saturday, UTSA will take on Omaha at 10 a.m. and Boise State at 12:30 p.m. Closing out the weekend, the Roadrunners will play the Cardinals on Sunday at 3:30 p.m.
UTSA enters the weekend 1-5 after a 5-0 shutout over Green Bay on Wednesday night. The Roadrunners recorded two triples and two home runs to open the home slate.
UMass comes into the weekend 3-2 overall with two wins over North Carolina Central and victory over Towson.
Omaha is 1-4 for the season with their solo win over Drake.
The Broncos are 5-0 this season after a win over UC Riverside and sweeping their opponents at the SDSU Season Kickoff in San Diego.
The Cardinals are 3-3 this season with victories over Green Bay, Cleveland State and Prairie View A&M.
